Clearly it says replacement earpads. First by phone and was told I would be credited with it, second email which was ignored and 3, emailed customer service. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am with Amazon. Three times I have contacted you. I received a reply saying it would be investigated and would be in touch with me and then to be totally ignored leaves me totally disillusioned with the way Amazon handles customers.Pat Quinn I paid $217 for this product. Page 2 of the manual listed what should have been included.
Problem solved but only after some puzzlement and phone calls. Using the included microphone resulted in a pickup of many extraneous noises until the Sennheiser tech advised that the mike must be placed right on the throat of the speaker. Could be easier. The Sennheiser 810 listening system works well but was troublesome to set up. Connecting it to the output jack on my TV would provide sound to the headset but not from the speakers so others in the room would hear nothing.
Apparently, the problem is with the central unit, not the headphones themselves. I bought this more expensive TV cordless earphone set to replace an old set which had died (different brand with larger style hearphones). What gets me is that I could have spent half the money with probably much better results. We decided to bite the bullet and keep this set anyway, however Rick has chosen to use the old earphones with this TV listening set. Unfortunately, after setting it up we found that only one side of the earphones on the headset worked. We then tried the old headset from our broken TV listening set with the same result.
I'm a little hard-of-hearing,and now I don't have to play the TV so loud. You just use low volumn on the TV, and adjust the volumn on the headset. My wife is much happier also. This is a great product. These wireless earphones make it very easy to hear my TV, even when I'm walking on my threadmill.
However, I didn't bother to order another, because after seeing it I felt it wasn't worth the price. I would have given it a rating of 1 star, but thought perhaps I just received a defective one. Hence the 2-star rating. The first couple days it seemed to work fairly well, even though it had a bit of static in the background. After that the static became louder than the audio on the TV, so I returned it.
